Sawyer Camp Segment Closed for Hazardous Tree Removal, June 3 & 4
The Sawyer Camp segment of Crystal Springs Regional Trail will be closed from the evening of Sunday, June 2 through Tuesday, June 4, while SFPUC removes hazardous trees along the trail.
Mid-June Closures for Mowing
We will perform annual summer mowing in mid-June, requiring the closure of various portions of the trail.
- June 11 & 12 – Sawyer Camp segment from the gate at Crystal Springs Road to the Jepson Laurel
- June 13 & 14 – Sawyer Camp Segment from the Jepson Laurel to just south of the San Andreas Dam (the trail north of this point is subject to an ongoing closure—see below)
- June 18 & 19 – San Andreas segment
- June 20 & 21 – Segment south of Crystal Springs Dam
Each of these trail portions will be closed the evening before the start date.
Northern Portion of Sawyer Camp Segment Closed Through October 2024
The Sawyer Camp segment is currently closed from the Hillcrest Blvd entrance down to just south of San Andreas Dam. This closure is to allow SFPUC to make improvements to San Andreas Reservoir Road and is expected to last through October 2024. Learn more: Peninsula Watershed Road Improvement Project (sfpuc.org)
